Review of Directions Hair Dye: I have been dyeing my hair coloured now for quite a long time, and I love it, I love having cut it out and I used to use a band called Crazy Color, which I realized were quite crap and started using directions. So directions are the brand I use now.
So it’s Larrys Directions and the colours. I generally use a series Violet and I’ll Pine Green that the colours that I tend to use the most.
I really like the directions. I feel like they are bright, bold colours that are very strong and are very effective. And if you look at my hair, you can see like these three different tones in this and they’re really bold.
You can mix them with conditioner.
If you wanted a lighter shade, you could make some of some directions with a silicone-free conditioner and you’re going to get a lovely, like, pale colour so you can use them for lots of different shades and you can mix them together as well. So they are wonderful in that way.
One downside I personally have found two directions is properly kind of shades don’t stay very well.
I find that shades that are sort of purple in colour tend to fade very quickly and I will dye my hair purple. And then a week later, it’s already lost like 50 per cent of the colour.
So the dye you can see in that article faded to this in about three weeks.
So you can see my roots a little bit pink and then I’ve got quite a lot of nasty and just the green tone. And my hair was blue underneath. So, yeah, you couldn’t really have expected anything better than this, but yeah, that was three weeks, so yeah, they don’t stay that well. And I do however wash my hair every other day. So that does have something to do with it.
But it is easily affected by shampoos. So depending on what shampoo use, you’re going to get a different kind of lasting power.
The hair I have at the moment, I actually don’t like it very much. I like it like I think it looks cool, but it’s not really what I like the most. And I love faded hair on me.
I’m starting to really like that. So I wish I’d have left my hair how it was. But it’s too late now, so that’s the way it is. I’m going to keep washing it and I’ll keep you updated on the progress of how quickly it fades.
Is Directions Hair Dye Quickly Fade?
Yes, obviously, this is how quickly it faded. This is the daily and three weeks later. But yeah, I like directions and they’re well priced.
